No, it was vettel driving like he had nothing to lose....except he did. Max certainly wasn’t faultless, but if vettel and Ferrari really wanted to, they could’ve committed to waiting for max to take the penalty, jump in the pits, throw on some soft and then party on. Instead, vettel gets too impatient, tries a ludicrous pass at the wrong turn, damages his car, and then is left out to dry for another dozen laps at the back on raggedy supersofts.

Frrark blew it this year. They had the car and they had the driver. And yet somehow, they three it away.

Besides the last 5-6 laps it was actually pretty good to watch. Ferrari screwing up Vettel’s pit strategy after he spun and making him pass the whole field twice kept things interesting. I was really hoping Max would wreck Bottas at the end though.
